WHERE THE RIVER MEETS THE ROAD.

The trucking industry plays a vital role in the daily movement of goods with an average of 1,000 trucks making a round trip, hauling cargo in and out of Port NOLA five days a week.

Local and national carriers provide truck service via the Interstate Highway System. The Clarence Henry Truckway, a dedicated roadway on Port property, gives truckers efficient and dedicated access to the Port’s cargo terminals.

  • I-10 to Business 90 W (Exit 234A)
  • Business 90 W to Tchoupitoulas St. (Exit 11C)
  • Tchoupitoulas/Religious St. to Truckway Entrance at Felicity St.

(From West Bank Expwy.)

  • West Bank Expwy./Business 90 E to Crescent City Connection (Mississippi River Bridge)
  • Crescent City Connection to Tchoupitoulas St. (Exit 11A)
  • Tchoupitoulas/Religious St. to Truckway entrance at Felicity St.

EXITING

  • Exit Truckway at Felicity/Tchoupitoulas St.
  • Tchoupitoulas St. to Business 90 East/West
  • To I-10 East/West or Crescent City Connection (West Bank Expwy.)

   ALABO STREET WHARF

(From I-10 East)

  • I-10 to I-610 East
  • I-610 to Elysian Fields (Exit 3)
  • Take right on Elysian Fields (go 1.5 miles)
  • Turn left on St. Claude Ave.
  • Turn right on Caffin Ave.
  • Take left on Chartres St.
  • Take right on Alabo St. (dock at end of street)
  • Warehouse on right side to check-in

  • Take I-10 West to I-510 South
  • Take 510 South to St. Claude Ave.
  • Take right on St. Claude Ave. to Caffin Ave.
  • Left on Caffin Ave. to Chartres St.
  • Take a left on Chartres St.
  • Take right on Alabo St. to Dock

   FRANCE ROAD TERMINALS

(From the West)

  • Take I-10 East to the Louisa St. Exit (239A)
  • Take the Almonaster Blvd. East Ramp
  • Take a right on Alvar St.
  • Turn left on France Road Pkwy.

(From the East)

  • Take 1-10 West to the Louisa St. Exit (239)
  • Keep right at the fork and go onto Old Gentilly Rd.
  • Merge onto Alvar St.
  • Turn left at France Road Pkwy.

   JOURDAN ROAD TERMINAL

(From the West)

  • Take I-10 East to Downman Rd. (Exit 240A)
  • Turn left onto Chef Menteur Hwy./U.S. 90 W and onto the adjacent northside service road
  • Turn left onto Jourdan Rd.
  • Take the Jourdan Rd. South ramp to the end of Jourdan Rd.

  • Take I-10 West to Chef Menteur Blvd./ U.S. 90 W (Exit 240B)
  • Turn left at Jourdan Rd.
